Georgia man will face DUI charges in a crash that killed one person and injured another.
Police say Gabriel Sanchez, 20, of Rocky Face, Georgia, was driving in the southbound lanes on I-95 in South Philadelphia on Sunday shortly before 3 a.m.
As he was driving, Sanchez somehow lost control of his red 2007 Nissan Armada. The vehicle struck the rear of a white 2007 Volkswagen Jetta that was traveling in the right lane.
The Jetta struck the right concrete barrier before coming to a final stop. Police say Sanchez’s vehicle continued south and then came to a stop in the middle lane.
