WOODFORD WOMAN KILLED IN CAR CRASH
Caroline County- A Woodfard woman was killed Sunday (April 12) in a single vehicle crash in Caroline County. The crash occurred at 12:00 a.m. on Route 605 (Paige Road) two miles west of Route 2.
Virginia State Police Trooper A. L. Benner investigated the crash.
A 2002 Hyundai Accent was traveling west on Route 605 (Paige Road) when it ran off the road left overcorrected to the right, overturned three times ejecting the driver.
The driver (single occupant) of the 2002 Hyundai Accent, Lori B. Guess, 54, of Woodford, Va., died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
Alcohol is being considered a factor in the crash.
