According to SCHP, Brittany Lewis, 28, of Conway SC, has been charged with felony of driving under the influence, resulting in death. She is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.
BUCKSPORT – UPDATE: Two people died in a car crash at Highway 701 and Little Lamb Road Saturday evening, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick.
Hendrick identified them as Jacklyn Cohen, 18, from Conway and Ryan Marsh, 22, from Little River, both pronounced dead on scene.
Corporal Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a white truck was traveling west on Bucksport Road and disregarded the stop sign at Highway 701.
The truck hit a smaller sedan traveling on 701, which killed two people inside and injured one other.
The four people in the truck and one surviving victim from the car were all taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
